A People's History of North American Music w/ Special Musical Guest: Toody Cole

$12

A packed evening featuring the following -

- The final Portland performance of A People's History Of North American Music. Mississippi Records founder Eric Isaacson's psychedelic lecture / film / slideshow that attempts to tell the the entire history of music in America in just 80 minutes. It's filled with surprises and, if you've seen it before, this time around it has all kinds of new material. Eric will be accompanied by master musician Harlan Silverman's cello playing as he speaks.

- Our pal Michael Hurley was scheduled to play this show, but since he exited to the other side of the veil before it was happening, we prepared a nice short film featuring some funny and moving songs and words.

- Legendary rocker Toody Cole (Dead Moon, The Rats, The Range Rats, Pierced Arrows, etc) will be playing a short set after the presentation.

- Come early to hear the great Barry Walker Jr. play some beautiful pedal steel guitar.

- We'll also have a merch table loaded with cool stuff and ALL proceeds (every cent you spend) will go to an organization that champions immigrants rights. Buy some records, shirts and old cool Mississippi Records ephemera to support a good cause.

TICKETS GO ON SALE ON OCTOBER 17TH!
