Over the past year, Roman Norfleet with his ensembles Be Present Art Group and The Cosmic Tones Research Trio have performed odes to Sun Ra, Alice Coltrane and Pharoah Sanders. The Albina Music Trust label has released a beautiful three tape set that captures these performances. We'll be celebrating this release with a pop up this evening. We'll have free wine and cheese on hand, and The Cosmic Tones Research Trio will perform a short acoustic set. Come on by and share the joy.
